Ateneo de Zamboanga University had its second Exchange Program in cooperation with philosophy 102 (Philosophy of Human Person). This switch program is required for all students enrolled in Philosophy 102. It enables students to experience how it is to be functional in the accredited world and to appreciate more of what they have and be cheery with it.
This experience had given life to what I used to lean with my cousins when we were still young. We used to play having restaurant and pretending to be waiters and waitresses and customers. And now, I got to experience it and I could say that it was no joke.
This intact exchange experience has definitely opened my eyes to legion(predicate) new realities of life. There are times when we are so caught up with our student lives that we fail to notice or nonetheless care about the real world and the lives of others. I entrust that the purpose of this exchange activity was to have us evolve a break from our own lives even for just a couple of days and try to live life in the real worldâ€"to put on someone elses shoes and become a worker.
Before the whole exchange experience started, I had problems with choosing a job because I get intot know which suits me best. though I was also contented with the job I pickedâ€"waitress at sunflower solid food Centerâ€"because of the convenience.
The branch was just in Brilliantes St. in the metropolis proper and I wouldnt be so subject and have someone I know see me working there.
As the exchange days approached, I grew confused, excited and scared. I felt more excited than confused and scared because I was going to experience what it would be like to be a waitress and a real worker for two days. Though I was confused because I didnt know what I had to do and what was expected of me. I didnt know how my co-workers would get across me. Good thing I had my two classmates who also chose Sunflower Food Center.
