A six day appellative given to our team in an NGO named VIDYA which was started in 1985 for nurture and empowerment of underprivileged children, youth and women.

Friday, 26th Aug; 2011 as our beginning(a) day, we met Mrs Jyotsana and got a brief overview of what VIDYA NGO is all about and its functioning.

The journey of VIDYA is a story of people giving impale to people. VIDYA today is a movement of social change that focuses on seeing either less privileged child gets a sound education, either youth achieve his dream and every women be empowered to act as an equal citizen. The VIDYA civilization is to give, help, empower, build confidence and see the positive in every challenge.

They have their branches in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai. Our team visited Powai (Chaitanya Nagar) branch which is located in Mumbai and there we came to know about 2 more branches in Powai which is Gautam Nagar & Fule Nagar.

As per their schedule for VIDYA two groups were formed to carry out the activities for different locations.



I was in Team A & hence we planned for the 2nd day activity which was Singing & dance Activity at Chaitanya Nagar. We again divided Team A members for singing & Dancing Activity for the smooth functioning.

And so , I became a part of VIDYAS Movement.

DAY-2: Saturday, 27/08/2011

Time : 2:00pm to 3:20pm
Activity : Dancing Activity Conducted
Place : Chaitanya Nagar

It was beginning day of our actual activities skills, performance, minds to be applied and tested at. It was pre-decided on Friday what all activities are to be taken up by our team.
