Now we are competing to be more competent in ways to make a substitute for gaseous state. In a growing economy that is solely dependent on cheap trustworthy fuel prices economies are trying to receive substitutes to cope for the increasingly gasoline prices in order to populate or even stay ahead of economies and not extraction behind. At this moment the United States is currently devoting a passel of time and money into finding resolutions to burning expensive gasoline in our cars and rising gas prices. The most favorable solution at this time is subsidizing clavus-based ethanol. Both federal and state political sciences boosting the reservation and the use of corn ethanol to help replace the gasoline consumption passed numerous subsidies. However, corn is not a reliable source to substitute for gasoline. The 1973 oil crisis where the Middle Eastern (OAPEC) nations stop exporting oil to the U.S.
and other Western Countries for supporting Israel in the Yom Kipper War, which caused a major shortage in oil for America. So that Americans would not have to experience those trying time with oil again, the U.S. government began to develop various energy technologies that include corn-ethanol. Up until the 1990s, corn was still an agriculture harvest-tide. Consequently, instead of corn just feeding people hunger it became a product to feed our cars also. One reliable reason why our government supports corn ethanol is that it believes that corn ethanol is cheaper to produce than gasoline for some odd reason.
