Times New Roman was created by Stanley Morison, innate(p) on May 6, 1889 and died on October 11, 1967. Morison was an side typographer and designer and was born in Wanstead, Essex. Morison then travel onto the Cloister Press in Manchester from 1921 to 1922. In 1922, Morison helped launch a new typographic magazine, The Fleuron, with typographic designer Oliver Simon.
