This is a review of a short account titled Harrison Bergeron by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
When I prototypical looked at the title, I wondered who Harrison Bergeron was. As I started reading the tier, I began to realize why Harrison stood out. In the setting that author position out, the govern manpowert has succeeded in making the statement “All men are created equal” a reality. He is showing readers a conjunction without individuality. At first readers may suspect Harrison. This humor makes the story more intriguing. I began to wonder what was going to choke and who the suspect or villain was going to be.
As the story goes on, the author continues to describe the futuristic way of living. Now, you are in all likelihood wondering, “why would the world leaders go through so much to standardize the human race”? You are besides probably wondering how everyday life took place as well.
This kind of setting baffled me as a reader, is it possible for some unmatched to legally control one’s thoughts?
When Harrison is introduced into the story readers can see what separates him from the rest of society. Harrison has outstanding features and capable school principal that surpassed more than everyone else in the artificial world that was created by the handicapper General. After readers learn about Harrison, they find out the he has been imprisoned for plotting to overthrow the government
Apparently Harrison felt as though he was not fit to live in the society created by the H.G. Even in the short amount that Harrison was active voice in the story, it was clear that he wanted every one to operate to the best of their ability.
