What would it have been like to live under the curse of nuclear war? While I tin cant agnise for sure, what living with the fear of nuclear war was like, I can only imagine it was a scary and nervous prison term for the citizens of the United States. The fear of the atomic bomb, the unknown of if and when allow it happen, if it does happen, what will become of the United States? What will become of The World? Is it manageable to survive to such an attack, and if so, what kind of human will it be then? The tensions between the countries, United States and Russia, at that time, and the fear of the atomic Bomb ar very much like the world we live in today, with the tensions between the United States and The Middle East. The threat of terrorism looming over us on a day-after-day basis raises similar fears and questions, especially, when will it happen and where?



However, at that place are many differences too, back in the time of the Atomic Bomb, thither was little media coverage, only television, radio and print, now we have not only those forms of coverage, but we also have the internet and cordial media, which I believe causes even more uncertainty, and raises our fears, as there is so much coverage, its hard to tell what is feature and what is simply someones opinion. Another difference I find, is not only is the threat of terrorism a political war, but a religious war as well, with disparate terrorists group using their religious beliefs, most notably, the Koran, as their means, or reasons for carrying out their threats. I think the biggest difference, with the exception of Pearl Harbor, is no event had ever taken place on U.S. soil, until kinsfolk 11, 2011, when the act of using our own planes against us, brought the reality of terrorism decent into our homes, our own backyards.
