Comparison of the African American clear up movement from 1890-1910 and the Black repossess movement from 1950-1970
Although the African American reform movement from 1890-1910 and the Black reform movement from 1950-1970 were functional for similar changes, the strategies and specific goals of the two movements used to achieve these changes differed in many ways.
The goals during the reform movement from 1890 to 1910 Booker T. majuscule strongly felt that that African Americans should try to achieve immediate egotism improvement, and that they should do this sooner rather than later. Washington believed that blacks were lacking trustfulness and he created a self- help approach to solve the nations racial problems. A critic W.E.B Du Bois stated that he felt that Mr. Washington was encouraging segregation. He wanted to see more university educations for blacks and for more blacks to have professions and careers. Du Bois was an attacker of injustice of on the whole people and a strong defender of freedom for all. Also during this early reform movement the NAACP tried to give wax equality to the nearly blacks, especially blacks that strived to be exceptional, they wanted to create a develop elite of African Americans to fight for the rights of others.

During the African American civic Rights Movement from 1950 to 1970 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. fought to receive equality for all blacks with no exceptions. King also tried to end macrocosm discrimination that blacks faced and to join together black and whiteness communities peacefully without violence. The main goal of this movement was to desegregate the communities including general school. The Montgomery bus boycott was used during the movement to gain equality for regular working class. Along with Black powerfulness which was used to glorify black culture and a dissolution of whites and blacks.
