It is funny how the determines that seem to shape our lives the near are centered around death. Joseph T. OConnor had a profound, biography-altering experience while he was on top of Mount Ritter in the California Sierra Nevadas. While ascending to the peak, a unnameable storm over took his climbing group and as he waited for the storm to pass he reflected on what awaited him in life afterward high school. I had a life-changing experience that took place while on a backpacking trip In the Colorado boisterous Mountains. I learned that as a man, emotions are not something of which to be scared or ashamed.
Last summer my babe Kendra, my dad, and I went on an eight-day backpacking trip through the crude Mountains in Colorado. On our fifth day of backpacking we pass over Copper Mountain Pass. The sun was directly above us as we stopped for lunch on a grassy knoll with a perfect view of the ski remedy below.
I lounged on a rock while analyze the rugged landscape, and I drank Crystal Light made from a bubbling brook beside me. The worlds tasks, my problems, every problem was 12,000 feet below me, and I felt the serenity that only comes with a Rocky Mountain high. I wanted to capture this moment, to uphold it forever, so I took out my camera phone and dour it on to take a picture. A few transactions after the cheerful power-up tone signals all systems are go; the phone started to shake violently and beeped incessantly.
