In The Trials & Death of Socrates aspects of identity and brotherly environment are addressed clearly. It seems as though alliance and others come before self. Socrates was a very intelligent cosmos who was ahead of his time. Although his arguments would seem persuasive to a reader, they would non qualifying anyones minds during his time. Socrates was brought in front of jury by a universe named Meletus. This man accused Socrates of two violations of Athenian law, creating new gods not recognized by Athenians and corrupting the juvenility. In The Apology, which was actually not an apology at all, Socrates makes good arguments, but it wasnt rough that; it was about the communitys belief. Because he is teaching about and creating other gods and not the ones that the absolute majority believes in, he is thought to be going against main Athenian gods. He was going against the majority, the community, so the trial is absolutely biased. Socrates was frame in on trial in 399 B.C. and during this time period it was unmatched for an individual to rebel against the majority. Trials due to rebellious actions were unseen in Athens during this time. Everyone was expected to believe in the same things, no questions asked.
Although Socrates was going against the majority, he still fought a battle and defended himself with right and confidence, because he knew his students were paying attention and would be influenced by his actions.
