VEGETATION ANALYSIS EXPERIMENT LAB REPORT
INTRODUCTION
It is predicted that contrasting environmental conditions affect the structure of dos. Therefor the amount of sun that a plant is unfastened too should have an pith on the plants structure. For example, it is said that a plant exposed to gloomy sunlight conditions should have larger leaves because a plant exposed to high sunlight conditions. The causation behind this is that a plant with larger leaves has more outdoors heavens, therefor it would be able to make more carbohydrates from the sunlight it gathers. And thus produce more flowers and seeds than a plant with littler leaves in the same environment. And by pruducing more flowers and seeds, it would increase its reproductive success and result in more plants with larger leaves in future generations in environments with low sunlight density. In order to test this prediction, how does sunlight availability affect leaf control surface area? If common olive leaves are exposed to low sunlight density, then they will have larger surface area on average compred to the surface area of common olive leaves exposed to high density sunlight.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
In order to set up and conduct this experiment, I start had to collect 4 olive leaves.

I collected 2 olive leaves from the north spot which are exposed to low sunlight density and 2 olive leaves from the south side which are exposed to high sunlight density. I place the north side leaves in a Ziploc pocketbook labelled north and the south side leaves on another Ziploc bag labeled south in order to avoid acquiring them confused. I then traced each leaf from the low sunlight environment onto a paper, cut around the outline, weighed the leaves and made sure as shooting to keep track of their weight. I also repeated these travel with the leaves from the high sunlight environment. In order to calculate the leaves surface area, I used the conversion factor of a 100mm x 100mm paper which is (Mass/Surface Area =...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
