D-Day, or the Day of Deliverance, is adept of the most memorable events of WWII. infra the command of General Eisenhower, the commander-in-chief of the Allied forces, the usurpation of Europe to advance it back from Nazi Germany began June 6, 1944. After Dieppe In 1943 the allies had a chance to strain out their new landing craft in the invasion of Sicily. The Landing Ship Tank had entered production. It was a ship exposed of putting as many as 20 tanks on the beach. After many tanks failed...

As an American, permit me say how very much I appreciate the audacious Canadians who risked their lives not only on the beaches of Normandy but also on many World state of war II battlefields where they distinguished themselves as courageous fighters in the cause of liberty. We are fortunate to beat such fine allies and I am royal to have Canada as a friend and neighbor.
Recently, Ive been doing some lay back research concerning accounts of valour and bravery in WWII. I couldnt help but notice that many nations and soldiers who participated in the warfare receive far less than their fair share of recognition. I think its wonderful that there are still state out their who take the time to honour the brave departed. After all, Lest we forget.
Although I left Canada for the Mother Land as soon as I could, Ive always got a wonderful amount of pride in what we did, and would show it by prompt the Canadian red ensign on the back of my hertz as Id cycle through France and around Europes Commonwealth War Graves.
